Confirm that the router supports dual-band WiFi : First confirm that the router supports dual-band WiFi, usually the router will be marked with "dual-band" or "5G" words.
Connect to router : Connect your computer to the router through the network cable to ensure that you can access the Settings page of the router.
Log into your router's Settings page : Type your router's IP address, usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, into your browser, then log in with your username and password.
Setting dual-band WiFi : On the router Settings page, find options such as "Wireless Settings" or "WiFi Settings" to enter the wireless Settings screen. On this screen, you can set the SSID and password of the wireless network in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands respectively. It is recommended to set the SSID and password of the two bands to be different to avoid confusion.
Save the Settings and restart the router : After the Settings are complete, save the Settings and restart the router for the Settings to take effect.
